Prepare cake as directed using two 8 or 9 inch cake pans. Bake as
directed. Cool cakes. Split cakes in half.

Mix cool whip, sugar and cream cheese.
|
|
|
Spread mixture between cake layers.
|
|
|
Melt frosting in microwave 10-15 seconds (no more - make sure lid
and seal are removed first). Pour over top of cake.
