     Royal icing

Servings   2 1/2 cups

Ingredients
2 large egg whites
4 cups sifted confectioners sugar
1 lemon, juiced
milk (to thin icing)
 

Instructions
Beat the whites until stiff, but NOT dry. Add sugar and lemon juice, beat for 1 minute more. If icing is to thick, add milk 1 tsp at a time. If it is to thin, add more sugar.
