2 cups whole organic baby carrots

2 celery stalks diced

2 cartons Pacific Natural Foods Organic Cream of Chicken Condensed Soup
|
|
1 cup water
|
|
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed
|
|
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
|
|
2 cups Hodgson Mill Insta-Bake Whole Wheat Baking Mix
|
|
|
|
2/3 cup organic milk
|
|
1/4 cup organic shredded cheddar cheese
|
|
2 tablespoons fresh chives
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Place the chicken, carrots, potatoes, and celery into a slow cooker.
Stir the soup, water, thyme, and black pepper in a small bowl.

Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and veggies.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or until chicken is cooked
through.

|
Stir the baking mix, milk, cheese, and chives in a small bowl.
Spoon the batter over the chicken mixture.
|
|
|
Turn the heat to HIGH. Tilt the cover to vent and cook for 30
minutes until the dumplings are cooked in the center.
