     Baby Henry's Bread Pudding

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
4 cups stale, firm white sliced bread; cut into 1” cubes
3 cups milk
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 sticks butter; melted
1/2 cup raisins

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly butter a 12 x 8-inch (2-quart) baking dish.
In a large bowl, gently mix the bread and milk. Let stand for 5 minutes. In another large bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Gradually stir in the melted butter. Add the bread with its milk and the raisins, and mix gently. Pour into a prepared dish.
Bake until golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.
Serve hot, warm, or at room temperature.
