     Butterscotch Fruit Cookies

Ingredients
1 Cup - 2 TB sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup softened butter
6 TB sugar
6 TB brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp water
1 egg
 
6 oz butterscotch morsels
Any of the following-
1 cup whole cranberry sauce
1 tsp shredded orange rind
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots

Instructions
sift together flour, salt and baking soda. set aside. mix butter, sugars, vanilla and water. beat in egg. add flour mixture. stir in remaining ingredients.
bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. yields 50 cookies.
