Ingredients
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp red pepper flakes
3 T sugar
2 T fresh lime juice or 4 T white vinegar
4 T fish sauce
1 C water
 

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Stir to dissolve sugar. Taste sauce and adjust recipe to desired.
Keeps up to 2 weeks refrigerated in sealed jar.
