     Vegan flapjacks

Ingredients
175g vegan margarine
125g demerara sugar
2tbsp golden syrup
350g porridge oats
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 180. Grease a shallow baking tin.
Gently heat margarine, sugar and syrup until melted. Remove from heat and stir in porridge oats until well blended. Press the mixture into a tin.
Bake in the oven for approx. 30 minutes until golden brown. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes and then turn out of tin onto rack to finish cooling.
Cut into 15 squares.
