     Chicken and Corn Soup

Category   Salads - Soups - Sidedishes
Sub Category   None
Preptime   depends...

Ingredients
Cooked chicken chopped up (about a cupful)
1 can creamed corn
3 spring onions
1 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder (unless you have the real thing)
1 tsp grated ginger
salt and pepper
1 egg - whisked

Instructions
This recipe depends on how you obtain your chicken! If you've had a roast and there's some bits left on it, pick it clean, then use the carcass to make stock. Then, using the stock, add the ingredients to make the soup. Stir in the egg just before serving.
If you are starting from scratch use one piece of chicken, boil it until cooked, with a carrot and piece of celery. Cool the chicken, then pick it all off and chop up, add the rest of the ingredients except the egg, adding just before serving.
Oh - and chop up the spring onions to sprinkle over the soup just before serving too. Season to taste.
