1 jar (27.50 oz) of Prego Pasta sauce or your favorite pasta sauce red or white
1 Cup Portobella mushrooms, sliced -- can also use
skitake mushrooms
1 Cup Red Wine
Parmesan cheese
2 to 3 Cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
Instructions
You will need a deep 9 X 13 pan and to preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown sausage, drain off fat, and set aside. Prepare pasta until done per package directions and drain.
Then mix sausage, pasta sauce, mushrooms, and penne pasta. Then poor wine over mixture and mix well. Pour into 9 X 13 pan. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Then cover with Mozzarella Cheese.
Cook uncovered for 30 minutes. This can be made ahead of time and put in the refrigerator until ready to cook. you will need extra 10 minutes or more to be sure the casserole is heated through.
