This is a crock-pot recipe. Spray crock-pot lightly with nonstick cooking spray. In a saucepan combine water, brown sugar and cocoa powder, bring to boil.
In a medium bowl combine brownie mix, pudding mix, chocolate chips, eggs and butter. Stir until well blended. Spread batter in crock-pot. Pour boiling mixture over batter. Cover and cook on high for 1.5 hours.
Turn off slow cooker and let stand 30 minutes. Serve warm, add whipped cream if desired.
