     Dill Pickels

Ingredients
Small cucumbers
1 quart Hinze 50 grain vinegar
4 quarts water
1 cup canning salt
 

Instructions
Boil 5 mins. (to kill any bacteria)
Wash jars (on extra hot in dishwasher) or if by hand, joil jars a few mins to kill bacteria. Always check jar rims for chips or breaks.
Wash cucumbers in cold ice water. Place washed dill weed in bottom of jar. Add chili petine peppers if desired. Pack cucumbers in jar as snug as possible to approx 1/2 inch from top.
Pour hot brine over cucumbers. Wipe rim to clean. Seal with hot seals. Tighten with rings. Place filled jars in a hot water bath for 10 minutes. Carefully remove jars and let cool out of draft. Seals will pop down to seal properly. Can substitute okra for cucumbers. You may want to add fresh garlic or other spices.
