     Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
5 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
 
Instructions
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour baking powder and salt.
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes.
