Saute onions and chillis in a little oil until onions are transparent. If liked, stir in some grated ginger.

Add the apples, sugar and vinegar and cook until setting point is reached - about 40 minutes or so.
|

|
Spoon into sterilised jars. (quick sterilising solution - half fill with water and microwave until water boils) Cover.
|
|
|
I also added fresh coriander to my original version during the cooking and it was lovely. If you use RED onions it will have a lovely red colour.
