Ingredients
1 pound of dry navy beans
2/3 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 pound salt pork
1 med onion
 
Instructions
Rinse beans; add two quarts cold water. bring to a boiling; simmer 2 minutes; remove from heat; cover and let stand 1 hour.
add salt to beans and soaking water;cover simmer till tender. 1 hour.
