Heat oven to 190C, 375F gas mark 5

Chop rhubarb into small pieces. Put sugar in water and bring to boil to melt sugar and then add rhubarb. Once cooked remove and squeeze out water.

Rub fat into flour until it resembles breadcrumbs
|
|
|
add sugar and mix and then spread evenly over fruit. Bake for about 30 mins until fruit piping hot and top is golden.
