     Daging masak merak (ox tongue)

Ingredients
1 ox tongue
shallots & garlic
chili sauce
sweet soy sauce
 

Instructions
Boil the tongue in salted water for 2 hours. Remove from water, and peel off the 'skin'. Cut into thin slices.
Heat oil, fry shallots. Add chili sauce, soy sauce and some water to make a thick gravy. Mix in the tongue.
