2 cups all purpose flour
|
|
1 tsp. baking powder
|
|
1/2 tsp. baking soda
|
|
1/2 tsp. salt
|
|
1 1/2 cups mashed, fully ripe bananas
|

2 1/2 cups Kelloggs 40% Bran Flakes
|
|
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
|
|
3/4 cup sugar
|
|
1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts
|

|
|

|
|
|
|

Instructions |

|
Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
|
|
|
Combine mashed bananas and cereal, let stand 2 minutes. In a
large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs and
cereal mixture.

Stir in flour mixture and nuts. Spread in greased 9x5x3 inch loaf
pan.
|
|
|
Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until done. Let cool 10
minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely
