Toss chicken, buttermilk, and 1 teaspoon salt in a
bowl. Cover and refrigerate, 1 hour.
Heat 1 inch vegetable oil in large deep skillet over
med-high heat until 360 degrees.
Mix flour, paprika, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and
garlic powder in shallow bowl. Remove chicken from
buttermilk. Shake off the excess and roll into
flour mixture. Shake off excess flour and place
into not oil and fry. Turn occasionally until
golden brown and cooked through. About 15 minutes.
Drain on paper towels.
