Shortbread base-
In meduim bowl combine butter cut in chunks and 2 cups flour and half a cup sugar. cut with pastry cutter until mixture is crumbly. press into 9x13 pan which has been greased (lasagna dish works great) and then bake for about 20 minutes or until crust is golden at the edges.

Topping-
In a large bowl whisk eggs then add lemon juice and 2 cups sugar. whisk again.
Mix flour and baking powder together and add to egg mixture. whisk until smooth. pour over shortbread crust and put back in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until topping is nice goden color.

when it's completely cooled cut into little squares.
