Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream oleo and shortening. Add sugar, slowly, and cream well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flavoring, mixing well. Add flour and baking powder, alternately with milk, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. DO NOT OPEN OVEN UNTIL CAKE HAS COOKED AT LEAST 1 HOUR.
