     Corn Chowder

Ingredients
3 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
4 oz bacon, cooked and crumbled
3/4 cup onion, chopped
2 cans creamed corn
1 can evaporated milk
3/4 cup whole milk (or cream)
1/4 cup butter
1 oz package velveeta cheese, cubed
salt and pepper to taste
 

Instructions
Place potatoes in a larg pot with water to just cover, brint to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until just tendger (15 minutes).
Cook onion in same skillet as bacon until clear. Set aside with bacon. When potates are tender, stir in bacon, onions, corn, evaporated milk, milk (or cream), butter, cheese, salt and pepper. Heat while stirring for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve hot.
