Mix and sift

2c flour
|

1 tsp cream of tarter
|
| |
1/2 tsp soda
|
| |
measure into bowl and blend
|
| |
1c confectionera sugar
|
| |
1c shortening
|
| |
Add 1 egg, mix well
|
| |
Add 1 tsp vanilla and 1 cup chopped nuts
|
|
|
| |
Add flour and mix until smooth
|
| |
Roll dough into balls. Place on bakin sheet.
|

Flatten by pressing fork down on top.
|
| |
Bake at 375 for 5-7 minutes
|
