1 head red cabbage, cut into 8 wedges, core intact
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Cook shallot and ginger until tender. Add vinegar and brown sugar. Stir in broth and water. Season with salt and pepper. Add cabbage.
Bring to a boil. Cover, transfer to oven and braise until cabbage is tender, about 60 minutes.
Remove cabbage and simmer liquid until reduced by half, about 10 minutes. Serve over cabbage.
