Lettuce Salad Blend - I love all the colorful lettuce for this one
Craisens
Feta Cheese
Red Onions
2 cups whole Pecans
2 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup olive oil
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp celery salt
1 tsp mustard powder
1/2 cup butter
Instructions
Prepare candied pecans. Blend to merange 2 egg whites and 1/2 cup sugar. Add pecans to mixture. Melt 1/2 cup butter on cookie sheet. Place pecans on, bake at 350 degrees, stirring every 10 minutes until butter is absorbed, do not overbake.
Prepare Balsamic Vinagarette. Combine 1/2 cup chopped red onion, oil, 2/3 cup sugar, vinegar, pepper, salt, and mustard powder. Whisk together over high heat until blended and onions are translucent.
Put salad together by combining lettuce, craisens, cheese, diced red onion, pecans, and pour over dressing.
