     Swedish Fruit Soup (Fruksoppa)

Ingredients
1/2 pound prunes
1/4 pound dried apricots
1 cup raisins
4 tablespoons tapioca (large variety)
1 cup sugar
1 stick cinnamon
3 apples (diced) or 2 cups dried apples
1 lemon (sliced)
1 orange (sliced)
 

Instructions
Soak prunes, dried apricots, raisins and tapioca overnight. (Recipe does not say how much water to use)
In the morning, combine all ingredients in 2 quarts water (add more water if using dried apples) and cook until fruit is tender. May be served hot or cold. May be served with cream.
