1 small onion, chopped

1 Tblsp. butter

1 lbs. ground beef
|
| |
1/2 cup crackers, finely crushed

3/4 tsp. onion salt

1/4 tsp. pepper
|

3/4 cup milk
|
| |
1 can golden mushroom soup
|

Instructions |

|
Saute' chopped onion in butter.
Mix with remaining ingredients.
|
|
|
|
Place meat mixture on piece of wax paper 15 inches long.
Shape into oblong loaf
Wrap in wax paper
Refrigerate overnight.

|
Next day remove wax paper and cut loaf into 1 inch slices.
Lay meat in 13x9 baking dish
Top each slice with spoonful of golden mushroom soup.

|
|
Bake at 325 for 50 min. or until brown.
|
