1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
|

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

| |
1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups old fashioned rolled oats

1 1/2 cups chopped toasted pecans

1 1/2 cups dried cherries
|

Instructions |

|
|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
|
|
|
|
Whisk flour, baking soda, salt.
|
|
|
|
Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, vanilla and flour
mixture. Stir in oats, pecans, cherries.
|
|
|
|
Using a large cookie scoop drop 6 large balls on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes.
