2 Tablespoons flour
|
|
1 cup milk
|
|
1/2 cup butter
|
|
1 cup granulated sugar
|
|
1 teaspoon vanilla
|
|
1/2 cup Crisco
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|

Instructions |

|
In a small saucepan, pour in 1 cup of milk and whisk in 2 tablespoons of flour. Cook briefly and set aside to cool. Mixture will be slightly thick.

|
In a mixing bowl, add butter, granulated sugar, Crisco and vanilla and beat for four minutes.
|
|
|
Slowly add cooled milk mixture and beat until fluffy. Fill between cake layers and cover Walforf Red Velvet Cake.
