     Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
1 whole frying chicken
2 large cans chicken broth
1 whole onion
2 whole carrots
couple of celery ribs, including leaves
sliced celery and carrots
Amish noodles
 

Instructions
Cook chicken in large soup pot with onion, celery ribs and whole carrots. Pour over 2 large cans of chicken broth and add additional water. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer till chicken is tender (at least an hour)
Let cool, remove chicken from broth. Debone chicken and cut up meat. I usually let set in fridge overnight and remove fat on top the next day.
Bring broth to boil, add sliced celery and carrots. cook till tender. Add in chicken and taste for seasoning . Add salt and pepper. About 1/2 hour before ready to serve add in amish noodles and simmer till tender.
