For dressing-
|
|
1 c sugar
|
|
3/4 c canola oil
|
|
1/2 c red wine vinegar
|
|
1 T soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste
|

For salad-
|
|
1 3 oz pkg ramen noodles
|
|
1 c chopped pecans
|
|
|
|
1/4 c butter
|
|
1 bunch broccoli coarsely chopped
|
|
1 head romaine, torn into bite sized pieces
|
|
4 green onions chopped
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
For dressing- Combine sugar, oil, wine vinegar, soy sauce, salt and
pepper in jar with tight lid. Shake until blended
|
|
|
For salad- break ramen noodles into small pieces, discard flavor
packet. Brown noodles and pecans in butter in skillet. Drain on
paper towels cool.

|
|
Combine noodles, pecans, broccoli, romaine and green onions in
salad bowl and mix gently. Add 1 cup or more of dressing tossing
to coat.
