Place Whoppers in resealable plastic bag. Tap with rolling pin or meat mallet until coarsely chopped. Reserve 1/3 cup.
Mix 3 cups crushed Whoppers and Cool Whip.
Arrange ice cream sandwiches on bottom of 9x13 rectangular pan, cutting sandwiches if necessary to cover bottom of pan. Spread Cool Whip mixture over top of sandwiches. Sprinkle with reserved crushed Whoppers. Cover & freeze about 2-3 hours or until firm.
Cut into squares.

Top with fudge sauce, if desired.
