     Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
 
2 1/2 cups quick oatmeal
16 oz. chocolate chips
Instructions
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat well. Add salt, Baking powder, Baking soda,vanilla, and mix. Stir in flour and oatmeal. Add choclate chips.
Make dough into golf size rounds. Press slightly down. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 min. Let cool slightly before removing from pan.
