     Chewy Ginger Snaps

Ingredients
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup turbinado sugar or brown sugar
1/4 tsp honey
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp.cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
 
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup crystallized ginger chips
pumpkin-spiced glaze

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees, combine softened butter, sugar, honey, and egg. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients together, add to wet mixture. Mix well. Add crystallized ginger chips. Chill for one hour.
form into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place on a greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Pumpkin Spiced Glaze Combine 3/4cup powdered sugar and 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice in a small bowl. Stir in enough cream, or half and half (3 to 4 tsps. to make glaze of desired consistency. Makes about 1 cup.
