Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In medium bowl,combine flour, baking powder,salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the butter and raw sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, applesauce and vanilla extract. Gradually combine the flour mixture with the egg mixture. Stir in the oats and nuts.
Drop by large teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
