     Chocolate Crinkles

Ingredients
1/2 cup Crisco
1 and 2/3 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 squares of Bakers unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup milk
 
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Powdered sugar

Instructions
Cream Crisco and sugar well with mixer. Add vanilla and eggs and beat well. Add cooled and melted chocolate and beat.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add about 1/3 of dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and stir with spoon. Add abotu 1/2 of milk to the mixture and stir. Add another 1/3 of dry ingredients and stir. Add remaining milk and stir. Add remaining dry ingredients and walnuts, stir.
Place in refrigerator overnight.
Roll into balls and then roll in powdered sugar. Place on greased baking pan and bake about 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cool slightly before removing from pan.
