     Cape Cod Stew

Ingredients
1/2 lb uncooked shrimp, peeled, cleaned and deveined
1/2 lb fresh cod or other white fish
1 lb. mussels or hard shell clams
2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) diced tomatoes, undrained
4 c beef broth
1/2 C chopped onions
1/2 C chopped carrots
1/2 c chopped cilantro
2 T sea salt
 
2 t minced garlic
2 t lemon juice
4 whole bay leaves
1 t dried thyme
1/2 t saffron

Instructions
Cut fish into bite sized pieces and chill. Combine rest and slow cook on low, covered for 7 hrs. Add seafood. Cover and cook on hihgh 15-30 min until fish is just cooked through.
