     Pumpkin Sprice Bread

Ingredients
3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs lightly beaten
1 (15 oz) solid pack pumpkin
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
 
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 cup water

Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, oil and eggs. Add pumpkin and mis well. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, cloves and allspice; add to the pumpkin mixture alternately with water, beating well after each addition.
Pour into 2 greased 9 X 5 X 3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes our clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
