     Slow Cooker Apple Butter

Ingredients
12 cups Granny Smith Apples, cored, peeled and quartered
1 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, packed
1/2 cup Apple Juice
1 tsp. Allspice
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Ground Cloves
 

Instructions
Mix together all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 8-10 hours, or until apples are very tender.
Mash apples with a fork or potato masher. Cook, uncovered, on low setting for an additional 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally until very thick.
Let cool for 2 hours; spoon into containers.
Keep refrigerated up to 3 weeks.
