     Grandma's Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients
3/4 Cups Butter
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 well beaten Eggs
3 Ripe Bananas
1 tsp vanilla
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1Tbl vinegar
1/2 cup milk
 
Nuts (optional)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 325F. Peel bananas and mash with fork set aside. In measuring cup add milk and vinegar together to spoil (you want the milk and vinegar to equal 1/2 cup) set aside. In separate bowl sift together flour, salt and soda.
With mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, banana and vanilla. Add in flour mixture alternating with milk. Stir in nuts.
Pour into 2 loaf pans, bake for 55 mins or until edges are golden brown and toothpick comes out clean. Cool on rack.
