Sift together the flour and baking powder. Cream the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and extract. Mix well

Add the flour. Mix in the almonds.

|
Shape into three or four loaves on floured cookie sheets (you may need some extra flour because the dough might be sticky).
|
|
|
Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 – 20 minutes or until light brown.
Remove from the oven and slice into ½ inch biscotti and place cut side down.
Bake for another 15-20 minutes (turning over in between) or until golden brown.
