Instructions
Sift together; 2 1/4 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1 tsp salt. Combine and beat until creamy; 1 cup shortening, 3/4 cup white sugar, 3/4 packed brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp water.
Beat in 2 eggs. Add flour mixture. Stir in 2 cups of chocolate chips and 1 cup nuts. Bake @ 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
