Peel and slice beets or cut them up any way you like.

Combine all remaining ingredients and pour on beets and coat all of them.
|
|
|
Put in a covered baking dish and bake at 210c 400F for 30 minutes. Test with fork to see if it is tender enough. I like it firm.
Can be served hot or cold.

|
|
It can be re cooked for 5 minutes to freshen it up if it has been sitting for a week and you can get another week out of it.
