2/3 cup of shortening (oil if baking at Sea Level)
1 1/2 Sugar
2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder (1 1/4 Teaspoon at Sea Level
3/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda (1 Teaspoon at Sea Level
2 Eggs
1/4 Teaspoon Salt (1/2 Teaspoon at Sea Level)
1 1/4 Cup Ripe Mashed Bananas
2/3 Cup Buttermilk
Instructions
Cream Shortening, Eggs, Sugar,Bananas and Buttermilk together in mixer.
In a seperate bowl combine dry ingredients- Flour,Baking Powder, Baking Soda,Salt, stir with a whisk to mix.
Mix Dry Ingredients into Creamed Mixture, combine well. Grease and flour 2 Round or 1 9x13 Pans.
Pour batter into pan and Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. While the cake is baking make the Cream Cheese Frosting! 1-6 oz. Pkg. of Cream Cheese(softened), @ Tablespoons of Milk,5 Cups of Powdered Sugar, 1 1/2 Teaspoons of Vanilla!
