1/2 cup water

1 Tbsp sugar
|

2 1/4 Tbsp or one packet active dry yeast

2 cups whole milk

1/2 cup unsalted butter
|

1 tsp salt
|

2 cups flour

2 large eggs
|

2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions |

Add luke warm water, sugar and yeast and let stand 10 minutes until frothy.
|
|
|
Stir in milk, melted then cooled butter, and salt. Beat in flour until smooth. Wrap bowl tightly in plastic wrap. Leave on the counter overnight.
|

Next day add eggs, vanilla and baking soda. Suggests a 4 on the waffle maker.
