     Apple Butter

Ingredients
4 CUPS (1 L) APPLE JUICE
4 CUPS (1L) APPLES,PARED,CORED AND DICED
3/4 CUP (180mL) SUGAR
1/2TSP GROUND CINNAMON
1/4(1mL) GROUND CLOVES
1/4TSP (1mL) GROUND GINGER
 

Instructions
Heat the apple juice in a pot.Reduce to 2 cups. Add apples.Heat to boiling, reduce heat,simmer for 30 minutes or until apples are very tender.
Press through a sieve or process in a a food processor until smooth.
Place with remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Heat to boiling. Reduceheat;simmer for about 1 hour or untill thick.
Pour into sterilized jars. Seal
