Preheat oven to 350F. Mix first three ingredients into a light pastry
and press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

Mix and boil the next two ingredients (butter and water). Remove
from the heat and add the almond flavoring. Then add the flour
and mix well. Mix in eggs one at a time incorporating completely
until mix. Gently spread over the pastry and bake for one hour at
350F. Cool completely!!!

Mix together remaining ingredients (powdered sugar through
slivered almonds). Add green or red food coloring for a holiday
flare! Frost the pastry.

Cut in half length-wise and then into small pieces. Enjoy!!
