     Peanut Butter Tandy Cakes

Ingredients
1 c milk
2 tsp butter
2 c flour
2 c sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
4 eggs
1 lb. jar of peanut butter
 

Instructions
In a small saucepan, scald milk w/ butter & set aside.
In a large mixing bowl add flour, sugar, baking soda, vanilla, salt, and eggs. Blend together
Add milk to flour mix & blend well. Spread into a greased and floured jelly roll pan. A disposable 15.25 X 10.5 X 1in. pan works well. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove from oven & immediately spread jar of peanut butter on top. Refrigerate and freeze until cool. Melt Hershey's chocolate in microwave for 2 min. Spread on top of peanut butter & cool in fridge. Cut into squares
Serving Suggestions
Makes 30 to 40 squares.
