1 (1 lb) loaf round sourdough bread unsliced

1 lb Monterey Jack cheese, sliced then cut into strips
|

1/2 c Butter (or more), melted
|
| |
1/2 chopped Green Onions
|

4-5 lg Garlic Cloves, chopped

| |
2 tsp Poppy Seeds
|

Instructions |

|
Cut the bread lengthwise and crosswise without cutting through the
bottom crust. Insert cheese between cuts.
|

Combine butter, onions, garlic and poppy seeds; drizzle over the
bread. Wrap in foil; place on a baking sheet.
|
|
|
|
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Unwrap; bake 10-15 minutes
longer until cheese is melted. Serve warm.
