In your large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
In the small bowl, beat the egg, milk, oil, and vanilla.
Add your egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Pour batter into greased pan, medium-high heat. Then sprinkle desired amount with chocolate chips on top. When bubbles begin to form on top side of pancake flip over and cook until golden brown.
