     Pasta Carbonara

Ingredients
1/2 package of bacon
500 grams penne or tube pasta (Barilla is best!)
5 egg yolks
1/2 c gran padano grated parmesan cheese
1/4 c cream
salt and pepper
cauliflower florets
 

Instructions
Dice the strips of bacon. Fry until crispy. Put pasta water on. Meanwhile cut up cauliflower into florets, and whisk egg yolks. Cook pasta half way through add the cauliflower to the pasta. Drain pasta and cauliflower. Add the pasta to the bacon (bacon grease included) toss and add the egg yolk. Toss then remove from heat.
Add cream, parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to taste.
